Student Leadership

Student Leadership is an important part of school life at Glenunga and a valuable contribution to the school community. We offer more than 200 formal and informal roles for students to grow their leadership skills across all year levels.

These opportunities enable students to become more confident individuals, dynamic leaders and supportive team members.

Prefects provide strategic leadership and advice to our school leaders.

Our three student-led Councils: 21st Century Learners, Wellbeing, and International Mindedness, provide leadership for our whole school improvement priorities.

Student Forum, made up of Head Prefects and representatives from each Sub School Leadership Team, Strategic Council, the Pod, Student Life, Sport and Specialist Leaders, provide a student lens on decisions and strategic thinking within the school.

House and Spirit Captains lead our four Houses in a range of activities. Student clubs and Sub Schools each have their own Captains and Vice Captains.
