Study Tours provide our school community with a wonderful opportunity to embrace social and cultural exchange and demonstrate our school value of International Mindedness in action.
We are currently recruiting new homestays for Study Tours from our community.
Being a homestay family provides your student with many benefits, including the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. Students create life-long connections with international peers, paving the way to becoming more internationally minded.
As a homestay family, you will open your home to a student, provide accommodation, meals and transportation, while providing warm hospitality in a relaxed and English-speaking environment. Homestay families are supported financially, receiving $350 per week to cover costs of hosting the student in your home.
In the words of one Glenunga family, being a homestay “…was a beautiful experience for our family. It forced us to do things we wouldn’t normally do, like go for walks before dinner and enjoy nature and see our community through their eyes. It was such a pleasure.”
