Transition & Enrolment from Year 6 to Year 7
The Department for Education manages the transition and enrolment process from Year 6 to Year 7 for schools such as Glenunga that are under Capacity Management Plans. This process begins in Term 2 with a Registration of Interest from the Department for Education.
For students enrolled at government primary schools, the primary school will provide information to families through the State-wide Transition Process.
For students enrolled at non-government primary schools, the registration of interest form will be available on the Department for Education website.
Places are determined by the Department for Education around August. Once their process is complete, we connect with those families allocated to Glenunga regarding the next steps to confirm the in-zone address.
To find out what school zone you reside in, use the Department for Education’s online tool.
For any information about the Year 6 into Year 7 transition and enrolment process, please visit the Department for Education or speak with your primary school.
Families who have been offered a place in Year 7 at Glenunga will receive specific information regarding the transition process from the school. In addition, questions can be posed via the Virtual Assistant at the bottom of this page.
