Discover how the LEAPPB program at Glenunga International High School accelerates student potential with a focus on 21st-century skills, wellbeing, and global citizenship.

LEAP PB

As part of our school’s holistic education priority, twice a week all Year 7 to 11 students engage in the Holistic Education curriculum called LEAPPB– Learning Experiences Accelerating Potential (Personal Best). In Year 12, all students engage in a mentoring program twice a week. This program includes 1:1 Mentoring and Coaching, Connectedness with School and Community, and support for future pathway planning.

‘Accelerating potential’ recognises the potential of every student, with LEAPPB being a platform for students to engage in learning experiences to develop, build, and accelerate the skills they need to thrive at school and beyond.

The LEAPPB program focuses on the following key areas:

  • Being a 21st century learner
  • Wellbeing
  • Learner Journey (Learner Conferences, Future Focussed Pathway Planning, 5C development)
  • Digital Citizenship
  • Global Citizenship
  • Respectful Relationships (Child Protection Curriculum)

The curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop skills in these areas as part of building their deeper emotional awareness.
