Glenunga International High School is a full uniform school. It is an important security measure that all students are clearly identified by full school uniform. The Governing Council sets the uniform and the Principal and staff are required to enforce it. The school seeks the co-operation of parents in maintaining a high standard of neatness and conformity with students’ uniform, as well as in general appearance. Items must be official Glenunga International High School wear, as displayed and sold by Brand Mode, our uniform supplier.
WEARING OF UNIFORM BETWEEN SCHOOL AND HOME AND IN THE SCHOOL YARD
Glenunga is proud of its image in the community and an important part of this is the school uniform. Therefore all students will wear the full school uniform, including the school shoes, shirts and jumpers according to the season. Non-regulation jackets, shoes and pants are not permitted. School shoes must be worn to and from school at all times, except when actively playing sport or practical P.E, where track shoes are permitted. Track shoes are only to be worn while in the gymnasium or while actually playing sport. Students are permitted to wear their correct sports uniform to school on days where they have sport during first lesson ONLY. They must immediately change back into their full school uniform after their lesson.
Normal Opening Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9am- 5pm
By purchasing or pre-ordering uniforms you will be given priority delivery of uniform items, accommodated with special sizing needs and be given the opportunity to change the sizing of any garment should it not be suitable at the time of collection. The PE / Sports top has the students’ ‘House’ colour on the left sleeve – AIR, EARTH, FIRE, WATER. A students’ House is determined by the Home Group that the student is assigned. The school will supply Brandmode at the end of the school year with student names, Home Group and House allocation. Sizing and pre-ordering of the PE / Sports uniform will enable the items to be ready for the commencement of the school year.
