13 Nov Attention Stressed Students
With our Year 12 students in their second week of exams and Year 10 and Year 11 students preparing for their exams our Wellbeing Prefects would like to share some advice for students feeling stressed.
It’s easy to slip into the habit of procrastinating until the night before and then cramming everything in one 10 hour study session. Don’t let stress be your motivator and start revising for your exams now! Many studies show that you retain information much better on a good night’s sleep, so revise in advance, use your time wisely. But don’t only make sure that you are revising early and getting a good sleep schedule, remember to maintain balance in the other areas of your life such as exercise, socialising, a healthy diet and having some downtime. If you do this, you are not only going to get a better result in your exam, but you are going to be able to be less stressed in the days leading up to it.
